New Entrance
Conditions

In compliance with the French Government’s directives concerning the current health crisis and following commitments undertaken by the ‘’Conférence des Grandes Ecoles’’, entrance conditions to the Bachelor in International Management program for Fall 2020 intake were modified as of March 18, 2020.
All written and oral examinations have been cancelled.
Entrance into the Bachelor in International Management program for Fall 2020 intake will be conditioned solely on the basis of the candidate’s school/academic file (grades and comments appearing on transcripts), the language level in English (grades) and the personal file comprising a CV or resumé (‘’my profile’’ on the ParcourSup platform), a statement of intent (‘’my intent for the course applied to’’ on the ParcourSup platform).

ASSESSMENT OF FILES AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES

Admission into Year 1  

The pupil’s school file is assessed on the basis of :

  • Transcripts from the penultimate year of secondary study (overall grade average and comments)
  • Transcripts from the final year of secondary study (overall grade average and comments)

Points weighting : 4
Transcripts from both years bear equal weighting

The candidate’s personal file is assessed on the basis of :

  • The CV /resumé
  • The candidate’s statement of intent written in English and giving details of his/her goals, centers of interest and strong interests
Points weighting : 6

Admission into Year 2  

The academic file is assessed on the basis of :

  • The general average grade earned at the ‘baccalauréat’ or equivalent diploma
  • The overall average grade and (where available) comments on those transcripts the candidate can produce from the 1st year of higher education

Points weighting : 4
Grades from both the ‘baccalauréat’ or equivalent diploma and the first year of higher education bear equal weighting

The candidate’s personal file is assessed on the basis of :

  • The CV /resumé
  • The candidate’s statement of intent written in English and giving details of his/her goals, centers of interest and strong interests
Points weighting : 6

Admission into Year 3  

The academic file is assessed on the basis of :

  • The overall average grade and (where available) comments on those transcripts the candidate can produce from the 1st and 2nd years of higher education

Points weighting : 4
Grades from both the ‘baccalauréat’ or equivalent diploma and the first year of higher education bear equal weighting

The pupil’s school file is assessed on the basis of :

  • The CV /resumé
  • The candidate’s statement of intent written in English and giving details of his/her goals, centers of interest and strong interests
Points weighting : 6

Some of the criteria sought for in the candidate’s school/academic file :

  • English grades, where English is the language of study as of the 1st year ; these also demonstrate a taste for an international environment and an open-mind with regard to other countries…
  • Grades in economics for candidates who studied economics and social studies as it brings out their curiosity for the business world.
  • Comments made by teaching staff which help to understand pupils’ / students’ drive and intent (regularity of attendance and attitude in class), underlining their strong points, indicating the degree to which work is regular as well as any incidents along the way.

The personal file :
This is the opportunity for the candidate to show his/her personality, centers of interest, personal and professional projects.

Points to which the school attaches particular importance and which can well make all the difference :

  • The candidate’s commitment to an association, sports, culture… : sports and associations are frequently the theater for effort, overcoming obstacles and proving perserverance.
  • Travel and experience of an international environment are essential in a school which is open onto the world.
  • The candidate’s centers of interest, even passions where (s)he can put his/her talent to good use in various fields such as music, cinema, horse-riding…
  • The candidate’s mindset, his/her convictions, his/her will to succeed and his/her temperament.
