The University of Economics in Krakow was founded in 1925. It is one of the largest higher education institutions in Poland, with almost 20,000 students on campus in a city with over 200,000 students. The University’s motto is: “Rerum cognoscere causas et valorem” (“Happy is the one who has been able to get to the bottom of things”).
